CARETAKER APPRENTICE REQUIRED ASAP

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Caretaker Apprentice. You will work alongside our Site Managers supporting them with general day-to-day maintenance of the premises which will include but not limited to: Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance checks, site security, general plumbing, grounds maintenance as well as providing a safe and clean environment for students and staff.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and will have a flexible approach to the tasks undertaken and the hours worked. The ability to use one's own initiative to work independently is highly desirable.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have some experience working within a trade (painting, decorating, plumbing etc) but this is not essential.

The successful applicant will be in enrolled on a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative Apprenticeship.

37 hours per week

Monday – Friday

6:30am - 2:30pm or 9:00am -5:00pm

52.14 weeks per year / 24 days annual leave

Salary:

AP2 £6.56 per hour (18-20 yrs) £12,655.42 per annum

AP3 £8.36 per hour (21-24 yrs) £16,127.94 per annum
