KS2 Teaching Assistant

KS2 TEACHING ASSISTANT – REQUIRED NOVEMBER 2021

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our successful school. The successful candidate will be able to work the primary phase, supporting in class and delivering targeted intervention. The position also includes the Midday Supervision duties.

27.5 hours per week (08:30am start each day)

39 working weeks (44.5 paid weeks)

1 – year fixed term contract (maternity cover)

KS2 Experience is essential

Start date: 1st November 2021

Salary: Scale 3 point 4, £12,406.99 pro rata per annum (including fringe allowance)

The Successful candidate will be:

  • Proactive, well-organised and willing to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other colleagues
  • Able to engage and enthuse pupils, encouraging independence in their learning
  • Passionate about supporting all groups of children in order to enhance the quality of their learning and raise pupil achievement
  • Have a track record of being an excellent practitioner
  • Flexible and work well as part of a team
  • Confident in using ICT
